First post of my Life Candidly Shot

I loving taking photos of my family and really anyone who will let me.  I will be using this blog inorder to track my progress in my photo taking skills.  I recently took a Karen Russell workshop and let me tell you I have never been so inspired to capture the history of my family.  She made me see that showing our kids where they came from is an amazing process.  I hope you join me on my journey.  I hope to show you glimpses into my life as well as the lives of anyone who will let me into their families.  I would love to assist others in documenting their families as well. Here are some shots that I have taken and they are SOOC, or straight out of the camera - no editing done except possibly cropping.
my sasha girl - 19 years old and just beautiful - shot with a 50mm f1.8 lens
learning how to use the new lens is hard! love the backlighting though

loving the depth of field on this one

my handsome boy who claims no girls like him

so learning to shoot without flash in the dark though too much noise in the picture, first day with the lens

not fully in focus but learning about catch lights - neighbors doggie
Thanks for looking at candid shots of my life!
